Note (General): 本論文は、正徳二年（一七一二）自序、同五年（一七一五）跋、寺島良安の撰になる江戸前期の百科事典『和漢三才図会』一〇五巻の引用書目（略称、撰者名等を含む）970種の悉皆調査を基盤とした、主たる典拠、明・李時珍撰『本草綱目』を軸とする出典研究である。これによって、『和漢三才図会』動植物部のうち、「葷草」類・「水草」類・「魚」部の部立の構成と配列の体系、掲出語の分類意識をあきらかにした。また、『和漢三才図会』の独自性を部立末尾の増補に見いだし、本文における増補部分の典拠が多く引用書目としては3度しか書名が掲出されない、元禄十年（一六九七）刊人見必大撰『本朝食鑑』であり、その本文を、書名を掲出せずに引用路襲していることを明らかにしたものである。
