- 出版タイプ： NA平成14年度～平成15年度科学研究費補助金(基盤研究(C)(2))研究成果報告書研究種目:基盤研究(C) 研究種目コード:320研究課題番号:14550101審査分野:一般 区分コード:03ダイヤモンドを工具として鉄系材料に対して切削加工を施すと,ダイヤモンドが著しく摩耗してしまう現象は良く知られている.本研究は,この現象を逆に利用して,ダイヤモンドに3次元マイクロ加工を行う方法を開発することを目的としている.旋盤チャックに炭素鋼の丸棒を取り付け,工具台にダイヤモンドを取り付ける.丸棒の表面には,雄ネジ形状が施してある.送り量をねじのピッチと同じ値にして外周切削を行うことにより,ダイヤモンドの特定の部分でネジ山を切削することになる.この加工により,ダイヤモンドの逃げ面に相当する面が摩耗し,ダイヤモンドに雄ネジ形状を転写することができる.本加工において,加工開始直後は,ダイヤモンドの切刃に相当する部分で通常の切削加工が行われている.この間ではダイヤモンドに対する加工は行われない.数秒で切刃が摩耗するため,切削抵抗の値は高くなる.その後,ダイヤモンドの摩耗が始まり,ダイヤモンドに対する加工が行われる.このときには,単位時間当たりの加工量は,ほぼ一定である.次に,上記の研究結果をさらに進めて,ダイヤモンドに対して,より微細な形状の加工を施すための基礎的な実験を行った.このため,ダイヤモンドによって切削する際の切削幅とダイヤモンド除去量の関係を検討した.切削幅を大きくすると,除去量が急激に大きくなることが実験により確かめられた.本加工によるダイヤモンドの除去は,切削熱によるダイヤモンドの黒鉛化がその主な原因になっていると考えられる.切削中のダイヤモンド内部の温度分布を計算し,切削幅が大きいと,切...別刷論文([p.5]-以降)削除
