Note (General): 自動化の発展にともなって,ライン上の製品の寸法を,ラインをとめることなく,自動的に精度良く測定する技術的方法が,今後,ますます要求されてくる.過去,幾多の方法が試みられたが,微小寸法の測定になると疑問なものが多い.本報は,ベルトコンベアにより送られてくる製品の寸法を,精度よく検出するために,従来から使用されている光電素子を用いる方法に,改良を加えることを目的としたものである.しかしながら,実用面から考えて,特殊なべルトコンベアや測定箇所を設計製作することは,用途が特殊になるので望ましくない.従って,一般に搬送用として利用度が高いことと,製品とベルト間の密着性を考慮して,ゴムベルトコンベアの市販品を用いた.図1に示すよな装置をつくり,どの測定箇所が微小測定に一番適するかを調べ,そこにおける測定結果より,装置をどのように設計すればよいかを求めた.
