Note (General)：: 種類：自筆本北可継は、盛岡藩5代藩主南部行信、6代藩主南部信恩の家老として仕えたが、その謹直な人柄から、数多くの日記を残している。本書は、元禄17年（1704）～享保10年（1725）の日記で、当時の武士の生活が細大漏らさず記されている。
