一般的に西ヨーロッパの都市は、都市化、郊外化、逆都市化、再都市化の4段階の発展段階が確認できるが、日本の都市は、極端な都市衰退を経験せずに、再都市化の段階を迎えたという。
松本康は、グローバル経済と再都市化のプロセスにフォーカスして、大都市における都市社会構造の変容を検討してきたが、その眼には日本の大都市圏はどのように映るのだろうか。
都市戦略で有望視されている「創造都市」をモデルに、レジリエンスの視点を加えて、都市と社会の関係を紐解く。
