介護される人の自発的な行動の変化なくしては、介護者は次の段階にたどり着くことはできない。介護とは、介護する側が自分の身体の使い方を問い直すことであり、身体がどんな時間と空間を使って動いているかを検討し直すことでもある。その時、介護される人は、単に一方的な介助の対象ではなく、介護行動のパートナーとして見直される存在となるのだ。
日常会話や伝統芸能、介護場面などの身体行動を探る研究者がとらえた介護する/介護される身体のありよう。
