- 書写資料 ＣＤ－８７８ Ｍ－１０５美作国勝南郡池ヶ原（現津山市池ヶ原）の郷土史家大岡熊次郎（1842〜1920）が、曽祖父岡伊八郎氏茂が記した記録の中から、文政3年（1820）に勝南郡末村を福吉村（現勝央町福吉・大平台辺）と改名したいきさつについての記事のみを書き抜いたものという。飢饉(ききん)や疫病(えきびょう)に苦しむ末村の村民による村名替えの願いと公儀法度との間で、郡代や中庄屋が苦労の末に村名の変更を実現するいきさつを伝えている。
