特集 今日の電動機

まえがき--1. 今日の電動機を理解するには8つの項目について考慮することが必要である--外被,ベヤリングと潤滑,補助装置,絶縁,型,特性,電源,運転条件

2. 電動機小型化の問題は急速な進展を見せている併し今尚過渡期にある--モーターは次第に閉鎖型に進んで居る｡紡績,化学食品の様な特定工業用の設計もある｡潤滑油封入の密閉玉軸受その他に就いては尚意見の相違がある--潤滑油を封入した密封玉軸受は二つの問題を残している

4. 新絶縁材料は小型化の鍵であり且つ寿命延長の鍵でもある--人工分子を絶縁に入れるとモーターの相貌を一変する--ばら巻きモーターの新しい導線被覆はBクラスHクラスの温度要求に適合する--モーターの寿命を長くもたせるためには温度上昇の限度を守らねばならぬ--絶縁は如何にして劣化破壊するか--此処に約束された新絶縁がある--Hクラス絶縁は引き合うか--絶縁階級の国際標準が進められている
