- 矢代 秋雄 1929年生まれ。東京音楽学校（現・東京藝術大学音楽学部）で、池内友次郎や伊福部昭から作曲を学んだ。在学中ピアノ曲をはじめ精力的に創作し、1951年にパリ音楽院に留学。1956年に帰国後は、《交響曲》《チェロ協奏曲》《ピアノ協奏曲》等数々の名作を生み出し、毎日音楽賞、尾高賞、芸術祭奨励賞...
