- 衝撃を与えた週刊文春での手記公開 。総理夫人らの関与を消すため行われた公文書改ざん。懊悩の末に死を選んだ近畿財務局職員の妻と、事件を追う記者が問いかける真相。 本書は、夫を理不尽に失った赤木雅子さんが国などを提訴、俊夫さんの手記の公開に至るまでの怒り、迷い、葛藤を率直に綴った「手記」と、事件を発覚当初から追い続けてきたジャーナリスト・相澤冬樹氏による「同時進行ドキュメント」で構成されている。 「最後は下部がしっぽを切られる。なんて世の中だ」 （赤木俊夫さんの遺書より） 森友事件の渦中で、総理夫人らの名を隠蔽するために公文書の改ざんを命じられ、懊悩の末、2018年3月、自ら命を絶った近畿財務局職員・赤木俊夫さん。享年54。 2020年3月、赤木さんが遺した痛切な手記が週刊文春で公開され、大きな反響を呼んだ。妻の赤木雅子さんは真実を明らかにするため国などを提訴。事件の再調査を求めて行った署名活動には、35万を超える賛同が集まった。 まだ、事件は終わっていない！
