レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチの「最後の晩餐」の絵に描かれている部屋の寸法と、見ている距離との間に隠されていると思われる黄金比について解き明かします（第2巻　23日目で導き出した法則の応用）。絵に描かれている部屋や机の大きさの寸法の出し方を説明し、具体的な大きさを導き出します。絵のある実際の修道院の部屋と絵に描かれている部屋との関係を図解します。

「最後の晩餐」の絵の構図を、ダ・ヴィンチがどのように決めたかを推測して、解き明かします。高い画家の眼の位置で描かれている「最後の晩餐」の絵が、絵を見る人の低い眼の位置で描かれたらどう変わるのかを説明しながら、その絵をつくります。
