- 「日本の森産精油」の特徴、使い方などを詳しく解説。2010年に刊行、好評を博した『日本の森から生まれたアロマ』をリニューアル。オークヴィレッジ代表として長く森と関わってきた筆者が、とあるきっかけでアロマの研究開発を始め、日本の森、それも自らが暮らす飛騨高山の森の香りを、精油にするまでおよそ10年。さらに10年以上が過ぎた現在、「人と森」の関係はさらに重要性を増している。森を生かし、人の未来を明るくするためのひとつの方策が「森から生まれる精油」。SDGsが世界の課題となっている今、日本産アロマがわれわれの暮らしと森、ひいては地球環境とどう関わるのか…筆者の想いは尽きない。
