- 怒っていい。気づいて、逃げよう！被虐児とその親・保護者、行政職員、教育関係者…「児童虐待」の暴力に晒されているすべての人におくる証言集■各地で「虐待サバイバー写真展＆トーク」開催、各紙誌紹介・注目のドキュメンタリー本書は、5人の虐待サバイバーの「語り」からできている。自身虐待を受けて育った写真家・田中ハルの呼びかけに応え、モデルになった彼ら彼女らは、凄惨な過去を背負いながらも写真の中で柔らかくほほえんでいる。虐待の後遺症に苦しみながらも、今を生きている。語り手たちは30代から50代の女性4名と男性1名。「トラウマと共に生きてきた過去を慈しみ、現在、未来もトラウマとつきあいながら生きていくという新しいサバイバーの視点」（森田ゆう）をもつ人たちである。筆者はていねいにその声を文章化することに注力した。児童虐待は深刻な社会問題である。しかし、その早期発見は困難を極める。家庭内暴力や児童虐待がいまだに社会的に、そして被虐児当人にもタブー視されているため、当事者の多くが沈黙を守るからだ。被害経験を語ることは容易ではない。児童虐待の現実を、苦しんだ人たちの声によってありのままに伝える本書が、今まさに児童虐待の現実とともにあるすべての人に届くことを切望している。
