診断・治療のアップデート，共有意思決定の内容も充実した新ガイドライン
このたび2019年以来6年ぶりに本書が改訂された．2019年版からの主な改訂点は，新しいエビデンスに基づく実臨床に有用な診断・治療アルゴリズムのアップデート，近年重要視されている，「共有意思決定（shared decision making：SDM）」章の新設である．
1．診断アルゴリズムの改訂
感染の診断のためのフローチャートでは，2024年にPA法終売を受け，一次検査としてCLEIA，CLIA，ECLIA，ICなどでスクリーニングを行った後，LIAで確認検査を行うことが示された．さらに偽陽性例ではPCRが初めて推奨されている．
