Note (General): 本研究は以下の二章七節、序章及び終章で構成されている。序章では、背景となる漢字受容の歴史を時代順によって簡略にまとめた。第一章では、『和名類聚抄』採録語彙を研究対象とし、中古漢語語彙としての意味その和訳の相違点に関する比較研究を行った。第二章では、江戸期から明治期にかけて、日本人が作成した漢文小説を対象とする翻訳作品、創作作品、翻案作品より、翻訳作品として『通俗赤縄奇縁』と『勧懲繍像奇談』を取り上げ、創作作品として『唐話纂要』巻六に収録されている「孫八救人得福」と「德容行善有報」を取り上げた。この四作品における漢語語彙に振られる傍訳と、その漢語としての語義を比較し検討することによって、近世漢語語彙の日本語への流入実態を明らかにした。終章では、前述した各小節における分析で得た結論を整合し、本研究の最終結論を提示し今後の課題を述べた。本研究においては、傍訳を手掛かりに、漢語語彙の漢語における本来的意味と日本に伝入した語義の間における相違を検討することにより、漢語語彙が日本語において受容される実態を明らかにする研究方法を中心にした。最後には付論として上記の研究方法を用い、林文月による『源氏物語』の漢訳における注釈に関する序文検証をし、注釈を参考とする際の意図や傾向を推測することができた。
