Note (General): 【目的】アスリートにおいて視覚（スポーツビジョン）は非常に重要な機能の一つである．本研究の目的は，運動負荷が視覚機能に及ぼす影響と鍼刺激の効果を検討した．【方法】対象は運動習慣を有する健常成人男性 20 名（23±2 歳）とした．視覚機能の評価には，静止視力，動体視力，視覚探索反応時間，フリッカー値を，身体的疲労感にはVisual analogue scale を，運動負荷にはトレッドミルを用いた．視覚機能と身体的疲労感の評価は，運動負荷前と負荷終了直後および負荷後 15 分の時点に行った．鍼刺激群は 10分間の置鍼術（太陽穴，合谷穴，光明穴）を負荷直前に行い，無刺激群は安静とした．【結果】運動負荷は，静止視力と動体視力を有意に低下させ，視覚探索反応時間，フリッカー値，身体的疲労感を有意に増加させた（各 P＜0.001）．鍼刺激は，運動負荷による静止視力と動体視力の低下および身体的疲労感の増加を有意に抑制したが（各 P＜0.01），視覚探索反応時間とフリッカー値に影響を及ぼさなかった．【結論】鍼は運動負荷による視力低下の予防に有用であることが示唆されたが，その作用機序や眼と手の共同運動のような高次機能に対する鍼の効果は，さらなる検討が必要であると考えられた．
