Note (General): 諸体千字文とはその名の示す通り、二種以上の書体、いわゆる楷書、行書、草書、隷書、篆書などで千字文を書いて並べた千字文のことである。使用する書体は固定されておらず、書道史上には二体から、三体、四体、五体、六体、十体、廿体、百体の千字文まで数えきれないほどの写本または版本がある。本論文は従来の研究成果を踏まえながら、近世における習字手本及び千字文の出版や使用の概況について考察し（第一章、第二章）、近世初期における開板された諸体千字文の版本を個別研究するものである（第三章、第四章、第五章、第六章）。本論文は諸体千字文に対する研究の一段階として、乱世かつ出版の初期段階にある近世初期に開板し、変容した諸体千字文は、法帖をはじめ、通俗読本、教育書、字典などの形として、各階層に使用され、唐様における諸体の普及にも日常生活にも影響を与えていたことが明らかになった。
