国土交通省が導入したi-Constructionを端緒として、コンクリート工の生産性向上が期待されている。本研究では、コンクリートの材料選定、配合設計、練混ぜ、打込み・締固めおよび養生の各段階の内、材料選定および締固めに着目した。前者は、骨材資源の有効活用および試験効率化を期待して、コンクリートの性能に及ぼす骨材品質を適切かつ短時間で評価できる技術の開発、後者は、従来の目視判定の代替となり得る技術の開発に取り組んだ。その結果、化合水含有率を用いた新たな骨材評価手法、浮遊体あるいはAIを用いた新たな締固め完了判定手法を提案した。
