Note (General): 本研究の目的は、在宅で生活する重症心身障がい児（以下、重症児）の養育者が安心できるレスパイト入院のための看護支援を明らかにすることである。第１研究では、養育者へ面接調査を行い、その結果から第2研究として全国の養育者へ質問紙調査を実施した。その結果、養育者が安心できる看護支援には、重症児の体調管理をはじめとし、愛護的なケアなどの多数の看護支援が必要であった。しかし、第2研究の結果からは、看護支援の多くは、養育者の期待に添えていなかった。特に改善が必要な項目として「勤務交代をした看護師間で正確な引継ぎがある」であることが示された。
