Note (General): 本論文では、リアルタイムの同期型・時間差を許容する非同期型のICTの活用が、情意面 (不安、WTC、国際的志向性) とスピーキング力に及ぼす影響を検証した。1対1のオンライン英会話 (研究1～3) 、一斉指導の状況下におけるビデオ通話 (研究4～6)、動画ベースの共有学習アプリ (研究5～6) の6つの研究課題の視点から、効果を促進させるための条件を明らかにした。その結果、ICTを活用した同期型の環境下において即興的に英語でやり取りすることに慣れさせ、意思疎通ができたという成功体験を積み重ね、少しずつ英語でやり取りできる自信がつくようになることで、情意面の向上が期待できることがわかった。また、非同期型との併用においても同様に不安の軽減と国際的志向性の向上の効果の促進が期待できることが示された。同期型のビデオ通話において、講師からのフィードバックが英語学習意欲の向上につながり、繰り返し練習を積み重ねることでスピーキング力の向上も期待できることが示唆された。
