• Note (General): 無線通信機能を有するか否かに関わらず，電子機器の小型化と高性能化の両立は，機器の多機能化やユーザの利便性追求の観点で常に存在する要求である．一方，近年では，製品の製造から使用，廃棄に至るまでの環境負荷を低減することがサステナビリティの観点からも求められており，機器の小型化は必要不可欠な取り組みである．ところで，無線通信機能を搭載した機器は，その機能の実現のため，機器と周囲空間とを電磁波で繋ぐインターフェースであるアンテナを必ず搭載する．機器を構成する部品のうち，半導体をはじめとした電子部品は，製造技術の発展とともに集積化・小型化が進んでいる．しかし，アンテナは送受信する電磁波の波長と電気的サイズとの関係で特性が決定されるため，特性を維持したままの小形化は容易でない．そのため，アンテナ自体をいかに小形化するか，更にアンテナをいかに集積して実装するか，が機器の小型化に重要な要素である．装置小型化の方針と，その方針を採用した場合に一般的に考えられる課題，および本論文で示す当該課題の解決方法を以下に述べる．・アンテナの小形化設計 アンテナの電気的な特性は，送受信する電磁波の波長と，アンテナの大きさや形状との関係によって決定される．そのため，電気的な要求を満足しつつ小形なアンテナを設計する必要がある．小形アンテナとして代表的な線状アンテナでは，小面積に実装するため配線を折り曲げることが行われるが，折り曲げ方と電気的な特性との関係を見出すことは容易でなく，試行錯誤的に形状最適化をしなければならないという課題がある．また，一般的にアンテナは電気的に小形であるほど放射効率が低下することが知られている．放射効率が低いアンテナで電磁波を受信する場合，負荷に供給できる電力は小さくなる．そのため，負荷の低消費電力化も課題である．第 2 章では，電波型パッシブ RFIDに用いる線状アンテナの設計を例にとり，多目的進化計算アルゴリズムを用いたアンテナの最適設計手法について述べる．線状アンテナの形状を多目的進化計算アルゴリズムで扱うための形状表現方法を提案し，最適設計結果を示す．さらに，電波型パッシブ RFIDの適用先として温度計測システムを例にとり，低消費電力で動作するセンサ回路を提案する．・複数アンテナの近接配置 一つの装置に複数の無線システムが搭載されている場合，または複数の装置が近距離で利用されている場合，一方のシステムがアンテナから送信した電磁波は，本来の通信相手だけでなく他方のシステムのアンテナにも受信され，当該システムに対して干渉波として振る舞う．干渉波の影響を低減するには，アンテナ間の距離を離してアンテナが受信する電磁波強度を下げる必要がある．しかし，アンテナ間の距離を離すことは装置の大型化や設置自由度の低下につながるため，近接したアンテナ間の電気的な結合を何らかの工夫によって抑制し，干渉レベルを低減する事が課題である．第 3 章では，近接したアンテナ間で送信波が干渉波として通信性能に影響を与えることを抑圧するための技術として，2 つの手法を提案する．1 つ目は，Bluetooth と 2.4GHz 帯無線 LAN のように，同一周波数帯で動作するシステムが一つの装置に搭載されている場合を例にとり，アンテナ間の電気的な結合を回路的にキャンセルする減結合回路について，特に広帯域化に対応した新たな回路構成と設計手法を提案する．また，第 4 章では，無線電力伝送装置において，一方の装置の高調波周波数が他の装置の動作周波数帯に相当する場合を例にとり，その高調波の放射をアンテナで抑圧するコイル構造を提案する．・複数システムでのアンテナ共用 一つの装置に複数の無線システムが搭載されている場合，通常はそれぞれのシステムで独立したアンテナが必要であり，装置が大型化する．そのため，単一のアンテナを複数のシステムで共用することが出来れば，装置の小型化につながる．一方，アンテナは大きさや形状が各システムの要求によって最適化されるのが通常であるので，複数システムでアンテナを共用するためには，各システムの特性を踏まえた工夫を凝らした共用アンテナを設計することが課題である．第 5 章では，新幹線車両の架線電圧検知システムと超短波(VHF：Very High Frequency)帯無線通信システムで共用するアンテナについて述べる．前者はアンテナを商用電源周波数で動作する静電容量センサとして用いるシステムであり，後者はアンテナを車両と地上局間での無線通信に用いるシステムである．高速走行時の低騒音化のため，アンテナには低姿勢化が要求されるが，低姿勢化は架線電圧検知機能の低感度化につながる．感度劣化を補うために，幅広導体を用いた分岐逆F アンテナをアンテナ方式として採用し，従来品同等の架線電圧検知性能を維持できることを示す．また，アンテナ先端に切り欠きを設けることで VHF 帯での天頂方向への放射を抑制し，水平面内平均利得を向上させたアンテナ形状を提案する．; To increase the functionality of devices and improve user convenience, miniaturization and high performance are required in electronic devices. On the other hand, in recent years, there is also demand from the “sustainability” to reduce the environmental impact of products from manufacturing to use and disposal. To this end, we find that miniaturization of devices is an essential approach. By the way, wireless communication devices always have an antenna, which is an interface between the device and the surrounding space via electromagnetic waves. In recent years, semiconductor devices and other electronic components have become increasingly integrated and miniaturized. However, it is not easy to miniaturize antennas while keeping their electrical characteristics, because the characteristics of antennas are determined by the relationship between the wavelength of the transmitted and received electromagnetic waves and their physical length. Therefore, how to miniaturize and integrate the antenna into wireless communication devices are important factors for miniaturization of the devices. This thesis discuss antenna miniaturization and integration methods as follows:・Optimal antenna design for miniaturization Chapter 2 presents optimal antenna design method by using Evolutionary Algorithm. Genotypes for evolutional design are introduced to express the antenna shapes, and the shapes of meander line antennas are optimized using the multi-objective Evolutionary Algorithm. In addition, the temperature measurement circuit which can operate with low power consumption for passive RFID tags is proposed and fabricated.・Reduction of interference of multiple antennas Chapter 3 presents a novel wideband decoupling network for strongly frequency-dependent antenna couplings. The design formulas are also derived. And chapter 4 presents a coil structure for wireless power transfer that reduces magnetic fields formed in the surrounding area in unwanted band by an additional loop element.・Shared antenna for multiple systems Chapter 5 presents reduction the height of a shared antenna for overhead line voltage detection and wireless VHF band communication installed on the roof of the Shinkansen vehicle. Chapter 5 shows an antenna configuration employing an inverted-F antenna utilizing a wide- shaped branching element with a notched tip that can keep antenna performance, even if the height of the antenna is significantly lower.; (主査) 教授 五十嵐 一, 教授 北 裕幸, 教授 野口 聡; 情報科学院(情報科学専攻)
