Note (General): 定常熱強制と単純化された雲物理を考慮した2次元雲解像モデルを開発し, それを用いて初期火星を想定した条件の下で実現される主成分凝結対流に伴う流れ場と雲分布の性質を調べた. 本研究では臨界飽和比(凝結が始まるときの飽和蒸気圧に対する圧力の比), 凝結核数混合比に着目し, それらに対する流れ場と雲分布の依存性を調べた. 臨界飽和比が1.0の場合, 流れ場や雲分布が時間的に大きく変動しない準定常的な解が実現された. この解においては凝結高度より下に細胞状の対流が生じ, 凝結高度付近には対流に伴う上昇流により密度の大きい雲が形成される. このとき気塊は凝結層で熱的な浮力を獲得できず, 対流に伴う上昇流は凝結層に数km程度しか貫入しない. 臨界飽和比が1.0よりも大きい場合, 凝結核数混合比の値によって流れ場や雲の時空間分布は大きく異なる. 凝結核混合比が相対的に大きい場合には準定常的な解, 凝結核数混合比が相対的に小さい場合には凝結が生じない時期と生じる時期が交互に出現し, 流れ場や雲分布が準周期的に変動する解が実現された. 準周期的な解においては, 凝結が生じない時期には厚い雲は存在せず, 準定常解と同様に対流に伴う上昇流は凝結層に数km程度しか貫入しない. 一方凝結が生じる時期には凝結層に厚い雲が発生し, 凝結核数混合比の値次第では凝結層で強い鉛直流が生じうる. これは気塊が過冷却状態にある凝結層で熱的な浮力を獲得する為である. しかし雲粒による引きずりの力が熱的な浮力を相殺し, 強い鉛直流が凝結層全体にわたって生じることはない. 臨界飽和比が1.0よりも大きく, 凝結核数混合比が相対的に小さい場合に準周期的な解が実現されるのは, 雲粒の重力落下速度が十分大きく, 雲粒が凝結層から完全に取り除かれることで過冷却状態が実現・維持される為である.
