要約
本論では、日本の自動車デザインに関して、現存する自動車メーカーが創立された1930年代より、現在までの変遷を、いくつかの、新たな切り口で見直すことで、今まで埋もれていて認識しえなかった新たな知見を導出し、それらが今後の自動車デザイン、更にはトランスポーテーションとしての自動車の将来を考える上で有効な資料となることを目標とした。
