• Summary, etc.: ユビキタス社会とは身の回りの情報機器や道具を使って、いつでも、どこでも、誰とでも、仕事や生活に役立つ情報が得られ、コミュニケーションできる社会といわれる。これを支えている技術環境はネットワークであり、サーバー中のアプリケーション・プログラムであり、また各機器に実装されたシステムLSI(IC)や組込みソフトウェアである。なかでも組込みソフトウェアは今後ますます発展し進化してゆき、知能の社会的基盤として必須の要素になり、職場や生活に浸透していくであろう。当論文では組込みソフトウェアのビジネストレンドと課題について考察する。; Ubiquitous society is defined as enabling the communication, whenever, wherever, and whoever utilize the useful information for living and working by using personal information tools. Its technical foundation is the information network, application program in server, system LSI and embedded software built various equipments. Above all the embedded software is expected to evolve as the social infrastructure of intelligence and penetrate into all corners of life. This paper studies future prospect nad issues on the embedded software.
