Note (General)：: 国学者。福岡藩儒井土周磐の次男。海妻氏を継ぎ、呉服町にて子弟を教授す。執政書記、書物奉行、大銃局都監、文武館皇学総裁等をつとめる。維新後、遠賀郡吉木に転じ私塾を開く。また、高倉神社祠官となり権大講義に補せられる。著に『筑前海産考』『己百斎筆語』等。
