Note (General)：: 安楽寺天満宮留守別当大鳥居の宿坊。八月十八日の政変により京を追われた三条実美等尊王攘夷派の五卿がこの延寿王院に滞在し、その間、西郷隆盛、高杉晋作、桂小五郎、中岡慎太郎、土方久元、野村望東尼等の志士達が去来して明治維新の策源地となった。
