Analysis：: 地元出身の代議士川崎克が、芭蕉生誕300年を顕彰して昭和17年（1942）に建設した。設計は伊東忠太による。木造2階建の檜皮葺、八角重層塔建式の聖堂で、屋根の形は旅笠、八角形の大庇は着物、その中間は顔、周囲の円柱は行脚する芭蕉の脚と杖を表現している。下層は平面八角円堂で、外周に吹放しの孫庇を設けてい...
