不忍池の競馬の様子を描いた浮世絵。現在では見られないが、明治時代は不忍池の周りは競馬場として使われていた。右側には上野東照宮と五重塔が描かれている。五重塔は元々、上野東照宮に属していたが、明治時代の神仏分離令で東照宮から離れることとなり、寛永寺の管理下に置かれることとなった。(Provided by...
