Note (General)
In the year of 1936, it was some house at Nakazato in Kume island that the document called "Kume Nakazato Old Record" was found. There was no binding, postscript, all the articles were out of ordr, and hence it was the almost useless material. However, Iha Fuyu and Nakahara respectively sorted them out referring to the "Origins of Ryukyu". Presumably, it was considered to be put together in 1703 along with compiling of "Origins of Ryukyu". Origins of UTAKI(sacred sites), songs used for rituals such as rain-making Otakabe(incantation), year-round event and festival are very important historical material along with "The Copy of Gushikawa Kyuki(Gushikawa Old Record)" and "The Origins of Kimihae and the administrative rank and<br>status, affairs of state, and rituals and ceremonies of the Ryukyu Dynasty " are included.
