- 本史料は大田南畝によって著された書物で、天保3(1832)年の刊行と見られる。後半には「琉球雑話」が付されており、「杏花園蔵版」とあることから、蜀山人の遺本であることがわかる。これは華坊素善著「琉球雑話」(天明8(1788)年刊行)とは内容的に異なる。本書は宮武の『筆禍史』によれば絶版となっているが、それは、序文を寄せている東條信耕(琴台)が、『伊豆七島全図』を刊行して処罰されたことに関連していると考えられる。大田南畝は、享和年間に大阪や長崎に幕府の命で出張したさいに海外知識を得たと考えられる。本人自身は文政6年に没しているが、本書は大田の門人たちが遺稿を刊行したものである。<br/><br/>みんなで翻刻対象資料です。みんなで翻刻へは以下のURLから。<br><a href='https://honkoku.org/app/#/transcription/2E3FD33812F4C728B3C867542BB1DAC4/1'>https://honkoku.org/app/#/transcription/2E3FD33812F4C728B3C867542BB1DAC4/1</a>This document was written by Ota Nanpo, and published in 1832. The last half contains "Ryukyu Zatsuwa "as appendix. Since it was written as Kyōkaen-zon version, this document is considered as Shokusanjin's last book. Its content is different from the one written by Kabo Motoyoshi in 1788. According to "Hikka shi "authored by Miyatake Gaikotsu, this book is out of print and it has to with this book being prefaced by Tojo Kindai who published "Izu shichito zenzu "and got punished. Ota Nanpo obtained the knowledge of foreign culture when he was transfered to Osaka and Nagasaki during Kyoraku period. Ota Napo passed away in 1823, but his apprentices published Nanpo's posthumous writings.
