Note (General)：: 匡眞禅師とは、著者文偃の号。文偃は、中国の唐の時代の僧で、本書は門人の守堅が、文偃の語録を編纂したものである。当館の所蔵本は、妙心寺の僧、宗鐡によって開板された古活字版（妙心寺版）で、「慶長癸丑（18年）仲春月洛陽　宗鐡重刊」の刊記を持つ。行書体の古活字を用いた稀書である。
