- 本書は安政5年長崎から始まったコレラの大流行に際し緒方洪庵がモスト・コンテッジ・カンスタットの三書からコレラの項を抜き出し、洪庵の説を加えたもので8月下旬に百部を版行し、無料で配布したというコレラ流行史上の特異な医事史料である。この本は後にポンペとその助手松本良順の説に大きな差がありポンペ批判と言うことで良順から抗議を受けたと言う（日本医学の夜明けp 243より）（解題：樋口誠太郎）西欧206和B5-タテコレクション：千葉大学附属図書館亥鼻分館所蔵 古医書コレクション = Rare eastern medicine book collection
