- 作成年（西暦）: 〔18--〕頃作成年（和暦）: 嘉永頃作成年代: 江戸時代内容解説メモ: 吉原遊郭への通路とされる日本堤から大門（おおもん）へ下る衣紋坂（えもんざか）の冬景色。吉原へ通う遊客が、この坂で着物の衿を整えるところからその名がついたとされる。画面中央の柳は雪に覆われている。雪を避けるために笠をかぶった駕籠（かご）かきや、傘をさす人物が描かれている。「江戸名所」と題された浮世絵は多く、吉原も名勝地であった。（参考：『浮世絵事典 上巻』、『浮世絵事典 中巻』）※シリーズ全１２枚、晩年前期
