Sakurajima
Sakurajima is a volcano located in Kagoshima Bay between the Satsuma Peninsula and the Osumi Peninsula. Sakurajima, originally an island surrounded by the sea, became connected to the Osumi Peninsula after an eruption in 1914. Sakurajima is still an active volcano even today.
