Tomonhyakka

A collection of brightly colored designs by ADACHI Mahaya (1823-1899), a painter who lived in Kyoto. ADACHI Mahaya was active under several other names including “YUSAI Mahaya” and is also known as a metalworker.
In addition, the National Diet Library also owns Choju-giga (“Toba Sojo Kakuyu Emaki"), which was copied by ADACHI Mahaya.
