日本及び太平洋戦域の攻撃目標への空襲に関するデータで、陸軍航空隊の統計管理課（Statistical Control Division）及び 海軍分析部（Navy Analysis Section）によって公表された公式数値である。
攻撃目標のタイプ・名称、攻撃日時、攻撃機の数・種類、投下された爆弾の数・種類、損失航空機数、死傷者数、敵機数、効果のあった（またはなかった）任務の数、徴用された日本の商船の種類とトン数についての情報が含まれている。
