解説 : 婦負郡北部・射水郡東部一帯、富山藩、加賀藩にまたがる区域の灌漑に使用され、流域の生産高から四万石用水とも呼ばれた牛ヶ首用水は、牛ヶ首用水方と呼ばれる役所が水下村々の代表である江才許を頂点として維持管理にあたっていた。本書は慶応元年（１８６５）牛ヶ首用水の普請などの諸入用の割符帳である。ここでは江才許ではなく江肝煎の名で署名が記されている。
