- http://www.tosyokan.pref.shizuoka.jp/資料名：箕作麟祥訳 『仏蘭西法律書』（フランス法律書）上・下 印書局印行 明治９年（１８７６年）官許 洋装本２冊展示会名：Digital 葵文庫箕作麟祥（みつくり りんしょう）（1846-97)は、幕末の代表的な蘭学者箕作阮甫（みつくり げんぽ）の孫である。彼にフランス法の全典の翻訳を命じたのは、後に司法卿となった江藤新平であったらしい。江藤はこの時、「誤訳も妨げず、唯速訳せよ」と命じたといわれる。そこで箕作は、和装木板４０冊を完成させた。この仕事は想像を絶する苦心の連続で、彼は「註解書もなければ、字引もなく、教師もいなく、間違いだらけの本であった」と述懐している。この翻訳の台本とされたのは、１８６８年版のロワイエ・コラール（Royer-Collard)編纂の“Les Codes francais” であろうといわれている。 ところで、フランス法典が４０冊もの分冊本では不便であることから、その後、洋装活版の２冊本が『仏蘭西法律書』として出版された。当館所蔵のこの本もそのひとつである。請求記号：322.9-115
