Note (General): グローバリゼーションが加速度的にエスカレートする現実に対して，世界史教育はどのように対応すべきであろうか。これについて，本研究では現行の世界史教育の問題を，(1)国家史および国家関係史を基本とした内容になっており，国家の枠組みを大前提とした認識を形成するものとなっていること，(2)その結果として，本来多層であるべきアイデンティティの中から，生徒は受動的にナショナルアイデンティティを所与のものとして強制されていること，として整理した。そして，これらの問題に対応すべく，近年の歴史研究でクローズアップされているグローバルヒストリー研究に着目し，世界史教育をグローバルヒストリー教育として再構築する論理について究明した。
