Ikuta Shrine

A shrine located in Kobe, Hyogo. The origin of the shrine is described in Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan) and it has a long history. It is said that the current name of the area, "Kobe", is derived from "Kanbe", which was the territory of Ikuta Shrine. It is known as a shrine to the deity of marriage.
