Kenrokuen Garden
A garden in Kanazawa, Ishikawa. It is one of the three greatest gardens in Japan and a National Special Place of Scenic Beauty. The name comes from the fact that it combines the six sceneries known as "Rokusho," consisting of spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, water-courses, and panoramas. In winter, visitors can see "Yukitsuri," supporting branches of trees with ropes to prevent them from breaking from the weight of snow.
