Gyokushu shuga-cho (Gyokushu’s drawing lesson book)

These are collections of paintings by FUJII Gyokushu (1863-?), a Japanese-style painter, who actively worked in Kyoto during the Meiji period. It was compiled as a painting textbook for use in high schools for girls and junior high schools. It is structured to learn painting techniques by practicing in order from Volume 1 to Volume 5. Published in 1906.
