Obihiro
Obihiro is located in the central part of the Tokachi Plain, which extends across southeastern Hokkaido. Railways and roads were developed around the confluence of the Satsunai River and the Tokachi River, and the city developed as a center for the distribution of agricultural products in the Tokachi Plain, where field farming and dairy farming thrive.
