Yubari
Yubari is located in central Hokkaido. After a large coal outcrop was discovered in 1888, the town flourished as a mining town. The coal mines in the city were completely closed in 1990, but the remains are preserved as a national Registered Tangible Cultural Property, allowing us to glimpse the remnants of the past.
