KOBAYASHI Kiyochika’s Kosen-ga

Kosen-ga was a style of painting that first appeared in the Tokyo meisho zu (Landmarks of Tokyo) series published by MATSUKI Heikichi in August 1876. Kosen-ga feature a naturalistic depiction of the atmosphere created by light and shadow at night.
